This year is an election year. Heading up Albert Pollard's campaign is Hillary Pugh of Richmond County, a 2003 graduate of Randolph-Macon College in Ashland. Pugh has for the past several years co-chaired the Richmond /Essex County 4th of July celebration and was voted "most likely to succeed" by her Randolph-Macon peers. She has twice interned for Del. Pollard and was also an intern for Rep. Eric Cantor in his Washington office. She is the daughter of Al and Pat Pugh of Richmond County.
